DAY 1 I have some of the first photos of our Day 1 of the Viper/Prowler Speed Weekend event up on LordOfTheLooks.com. Driving that NASCAR Silicone Speedway was a real thrill!! But as luck woould have it they are closing down this Wednesday, nationwide... Seems the money backers have backed out on Universal Studios so their closing up shop. We are the last group that will have used it according to their Manager. We had 36 cars there all tolled. After the Speedway we had a great lunch at Jillian's and the Viper President asked me to discuss plans for future joint events such as this. The Houston Viper club needs only 5 more members to pass Dallas as the Largest one in the country.. Really nice people and I have invited them to join our Seabrook/Galveston Cruise next month... They really enjoyed having the Prowlers out there and we had a blast. One curious note on the Hennessey Venom 800 Twin Turbo... It's Prowler Sparkle Orange!!! John said they went to the Prowler book for that one. I have a picture ot annd tagged it at the bottom.. Tomorrow we head out to Riverside Drag strip to join the Vipers and the ZR1 club from San Antonio. Hennessey will be running their new Venom 800 Twin Turbo along with TNT's King Snake and some others against the Langenfelter (may be mispelled) prepared vettes. Will also get ProwlerOnline the pictures to post in the Event Scrapebook. DAY 2, Here we come!!!

Just talked to Mike K. and I'll be picking out several of the "good" pictures and posting here. I'll also send him some of the pictures to place in the Event Scrapbook.. All I'll say for now is they lined me up with a HOT Z06 vette and my ticket column says WINNER!!! More to come.. The 700 HP Viper got me though..hehehe ------------------ |
