I have heard pros and cons about removing the baffles from the stock exhaust tips.

Ok at an idle, but kind of wooshy when you get on it?

Any performance difference noticable?

What's the bottom line? Personal prefference?

Thanks...

John, I removed mine and really like the different sound. Much more throaty noise. Then add the Gallagher or Mac air intake system, and even better. No difference in performance, until I added the Gallagher cold air intake system, and now I have much better low-end performance and sound. Hope that helps! C/P dealer, shop foreman, said no problem with warranty claims, also.

I just added the Mopar exhaust today and did not need the muffler because I have the RealRod exhaust too.I paid $750 plus tax for the hole package, does anyone want this part? I think you can't buy this part without buying the whole exhaust. I think if you remove the baffels and add this you will get the same effect, Look at the pictures posted. I will add a picture later, might put this on ebay.
