Ok, another topic, (sure)

I am looking for some direction and help on finding a canvas type carport for my car.

Yes my car sits outside, covered with a car cover.
I only have a single car garage and it is a older Spanish type building that has more dust in the garage then out.
I do have a double wide driveway, so that is the size I'm looking for.

Any comments, or help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

do you really want a ....tent...sitting next to your house....how about a fiberglass car port thats open on three sides...with one side being the house..???
wouldnt that look better...? any contracter can build it..might need a building permit though..check your town building codes..

JD - try www.cover-it-inc.com

I liked their covers, but finally built metal cover for my boat.

Go to residential/auto section at their website.

I have a carport like this one. I got it locally, not from this web site.

http://www.portagrace.com/carports.htm

It was about $1700 for a 16x20.

Hey John, I think I know what your looking for. I ordered and setup a canvas carport that I bought from Overton's Boat supply. It is one that is made for keeping two Jetski's under but works great for the kat. They have a lot of different sizes too. Nice solid Alum frame and heavy duty material. Check it out at http://www.overtons.com
under storage covers if I remember right.

I located some of them at Overtons, go to "Boating", "Canopies/Shelters" to see them. I use mine up at our lake place.
