Hey now........ I have to say I was impressed with how fast the other cars were. Now that’s enough talking about the slow cars.........I do beg to differ on the interpretations of the results. Of course my opinion is just that, mine. I delayed posting to see if the others gave the FatMan his dues……. Everyone there saw my times getting faster and faster with each pass. My first run, I didn’t spray it and ran a 13.5something to get everybody started. When I was just a boy, I used to win the turkey every year at thanksgiving. My daddy taught me not to pull out all my jimmy during the contest, just pull out enough to win. Mike did run 1 low 12 sec time but could not repeat with each pass getting slower and slower. I did a back-to-back 12.2002@105.7mph/12.3367@108.3mph. With my low .5168 reaction time, I may of beat Mike as he ran a 12.15something.......Me, easy to get along with, didn't collect on any of my bets, letting both Gary and Mike off the hook this time. Mike didn't mention that he forfeited the money race........he felt the power of my prowler and was scared. Gary, he just relights, everyone knows that the bow of a boat has a red light, so his runs didn't count. I couldn't get anyone to run me for $500. This tells me who has the fastest prowler.........it was nothing but fun and I am getting faster and faster. The next time we meet.....the bet will have to be $1000..........anyone care to take me up on this???? I will tell you now, next time, no one gets off the hook. Thanks go out to Mike K. for the track, Paxton, Prowler Pro, NX and all the Florida boys, Ken Albert ace prowler tech, Johnny T. the second fastest prowler in Florida , John Perner , Tom Welch and “The Snake” clearly custom dash. In conclusion.....now everyone at the race knows that the FatMan backs up what he says, proving 15" rims do fit, propane works excellent and the Florida "boys" can tune the hell out of a car....and the "Worlds Fastest Prowler" is from Florida. If you don't agree, put up or shut up. Remember, first lesson free at “FatMan’s School of Drag Racing”. Next lesson, $1000 non- refundable/no excuses ……………………..It truely isn’t over till the “FatMan” sings……………. |

You done good Jerry, but you have to admit that we can only give our the reactions by the times given. You were down on blower HP compared to the latest Paxton setup and still managed to turn a great time. How big a shot did you end up with? Did you guys run heads up or just go for times? How did your slicks hook-up? Dont you think that if Mike had slicks, he would have busted 11's? So many questions-guess I should have been there.Bottom line is Mike was the quickest and that was the goal-Right? BTW, how can you say that the worlds fastest prowler is from FLA? I think you have the potential to be the quickest, but for now, it's Mike. ------------------ This message has been edited by butchcee on 03-17-2001 at 09:26 PM |

Jerry, You must be delusional. I clearly ran the fastest time and did it with street tires and racing fuel. You had the opportunity with slicks and propane and couldn't match my best time. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades!!!! Please post your time slip and then pony-up the $500.00 that you lost to this 12.15 second Texas Prowler! BTW Jerry, Thank you for sharing your excuses with us!!! ------------------ |

Hey now Mike, you know if anything you owe me the game, I let you off the hook. If this was a sancation race, I beat you with a low 12 sec. pass as you were a no show. What was all that "my car is too hot" and "my check engine light is on"? I asked you several timeS about the race for moola. So making that by-run, I really won by default. But you keep thinking your the fastest and when your ready to run for some cash, let me know. And for the record, you had slicks, you just didn't run them. I have no excuses. I came a long way just to have you no show for a real race. I stuck to your rules, and was ready to race for the moola. If you think you can beat me with a 12.15, its a good thing you didn't put up the bet. You saw my money. I guess you just didn't want some???? So what was your next fastest time??? Everyone at the race knows you were the low qualifer with me just .047 behind you. You and I know that little bit of money didn't stop you from raceing me. So why didn't you??? It don't matter Mike, you should listen to everyone, know your the fastest and next time you say you will race me, DON'T CHICKEN OUT!!! |

hey now, this sounds more like Prowlerman and Alley Cat going at it Al - we should have had Andy go to the races and report back to us. We missed a great opportunity there.......... Just for the record, I seen Mike's time slip and was impressed. Have not seen the others posted. If I was overheating and had check engine light on, I also would pass on further runs. Common sense. |

Hey now, you guys got some silly ideas of what drag racing is.........anyway Mike knows he chickened out on raceing me. So as stated before by me, Mike had the low qualifying et. but he did not even race me and I am here to tell you I would of beaten him. He knows it and I know it so thats all that matters. We all know mike has plenty of money, so the amount was not the problem. Cheap talk.........I was ready and went ahead and did a run..........no excuses from me. No one needs to see my slip. All know what I ran. No way to post it anyway. Like I said before, the next time I race any of you guys, the money will have to be put up and if you cant stage, you loose..........its not low et slip on by-runs......you really call that raceing???? |

Hey now Alley Cat, you got one of them slow prowlers too I bet...........everyone knows the FatMan is "Not just fast talk". Quit riding the coat tails of Mike K.............I don't think there are any real racers on this site????? I only found posers in San An that like to make by-runs and call themself a winner for a low et. Rule #1 To be a racer, you got to race somebody...........I take on all challengers.....you say when, I'll be there.....you'll find me at the staging lights.......but its gonna cost you posers from now on...............Mike, I can be back in San An in a few hours.............bock bock bock....... |

It looks obvious to me that Mike's car was the fastest--but he might not've been the best driver in this "battle of the time slips". Of course, who cares about reaction times on by-runs. If Mike had been side-by-side, who knows what his reaction time might've been or what Jerry's would've been. Intimidation could've resulted in some nasty reaction times from our out-of-state guest. The title of Fastest Prowler still belongs in Texas. Congrats Mike! Now, if the Florida gang wants to start the competition for the quickest reaction time........ |

If time slips don't prove that Mike had the fastest ET then maybe my video will prove it? FatMan was good but not fast enough for Mike!! I got the video to prove it!! I'm here in DavidN's pad and thought I would check in to see what is going on... I got alot of video editing to do when I get home. It was an excellent event and have 500 pics with 10 hours of video tape to fix and put up. Later... ------------------ |

Well I have to say the proof is in the TIME SLIPS. It CLEARLY shows that Mike K. did run the 12.15 and credit should be given when & where credit is due, including you Jerry. Yes you did run great times, but the BEST TIME BELONGS to MIKE K. So many times FM would never come over and see when the racing was going on. Jerry you were the ONLY car that would not participate in THE EVENT! I mean, all Prowlers were together EXCEPT yours. You stayed on the other side of the track so as not to know when anyone else was ready to run. We only saw you for BBQ and Bob Wyman's(Paxton Car Driver) advise on help to open the injectors. You sure knew how to take his advise. As far as SPEED goes, well there again, the proof is in the tickets. GaryC obviously has the fastest speed at 112.78 mph and has the ticket to show. That is all I have to say on this topic. Over all this was an AWESOME EVENT! ------------------ |

Ok I shouldn't but will,, last comment too (I hope) I think Jerrys beef is with adding the reaction time to the et would make him the fastest, and it is true, "IF" they were racing against each other. Lowest et is the fastest car, period, with anyone driving. Heads up driving,, (which is what the big boys do) is combined et and reaction time. If you didn't add in the reaction time you could run these cars by remote control to get the et for all it matters.. Ok I'm done,,,,,,,,,,,,, ????????????? ------------------ |

Hey now, I red lighted once against the Paxton car, turned a 13.4??? 104.????, That was the one and only red light. It was very heat soaked , did back to back runs. Bob thought I killed him but when we got our time slips I told him I red lighted, he started to smile again, hey Now. ------------------ |
