I just received a recall for the addition of a jumper to the brake system warning light so I made an appointment to take the Prowler in on the 13th of April. While it is in I decided to have them fix my left front mud flap bracket. I scraped some gravel in a parking lot moving really slow and the whole thing came off. Anyone have that happen before? If so how did they fix it? I am also going to have the seals over the side windows replaced since the one time I got caught in the rain it leaked pretty bad. They told me that they would have to verify that it leaks before it would be covered under warranty. I decided to order the seals and pay for installation rather than having the Prowler hosed down. I'm kinda paranoid about taking it in and would appreciate any tips or advice from you great people. Thanks!

STARFLAME,
Get this, I went to a dealer near Hershey Penn. where I store my Prowler and they told me there was no such thing as a certified Prowler mechanic. They are all the same they said. So I told them I would take it somewhere else.

Niteman,

Starflame is correct. As far as the leak. It's covered! Had mine fixed. This is a constant problem with the Prowlers. Many stories about leaking roofs out there.

I am a Prowler tech in Dallas , I have completed all the training on the prowler. The seals above the side windows on the top come in 3 pieces , there is a right and left side.
These should be replaced under you warranty. Sometimes new ones still leak. May have to adjust door to shut a little tighter. I have a shower system set up to simulate rain to water test .
Hope this helps

Neal and everone else thank you so much for the info. Neal what do you think they will have to do to re-attach the mud flap bracket? Any ideas? Thanks again!
