Just a thought, but I'm going to supply some "family channel" Walkie-Talkie's to the Kat-A-Van coming from Houston area on the 16th. If you hadn't thought of it, if people have any of these radios and bring them, they all can talk to each other on the same channel while traveling over the weekend.. We have used this method on other events last year and it worked out great.. Just a thought in case you hadn't already come up with it.. ------------------ |

Fred, thanks for the offer we have been using the same radios as well most of the owners in Dallas have radios .I have 5 extra radios as well. we will post the channel we are going to use shortly... ------------------ davidn

Channel 13, SUB-Channel 20 easy to remember 1320 feet in the quarter mile. ok????? We need to start using these sub channels. |

We used 10/0 at the Grand Canyon, and that worked fine for all. Gary always cheats 10 feet on hole shot, so that should be easy to remember |

Thanks David, your are correct that they all do not have Sub Channels. All of mine do not have it and we just use channel 7 but it can be any of them... Well anyway you had it covered and that was all the intent was... ------------------ |

One of these days we all need to step up to the plate and get Sub Channels. We will run our standard 10-0 channel . We do need to all get the real radios, when Larry did the Paxton deal and we were on 10-0 we listened to 5 different groups of people cruising down the road. We all have 50 grand into our cars, why can't a few of you spend a little more money and be able to use the subchannels. The chances of someone else being on a sub channel as us is almost impossible.
