Hi My Friends
I just installed the MAC suspension braces. All I can say is not enough. The braces have improved the ride and handling of my cat way beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this addition not only for performance but safety as well. Thanks MAC, a job well done. Let me know if you like yours ( those that have them ).

I like em too. Others have said they can make their own and they are right, but mine have probably 5k miles on them and I'm very happy with them.

Bill I have a set that I have not installed yet. They weigh 13 pounds total. The aluminum parts are 4 pounds of that.

Tom, thanks for weighing them for me. Wow... thirteen pounds? And four of that was the aluminum... what accounts for the other nine pounds?

The ones I made out of 1" square aluminum tubing weigh less than a pound. I am extremely happy with them. The frame braces, along with the other small refinements I have made to my car, have made mine feel tighter and more solid than my 1999 Corvette Coupe was. I did notice a slight change in the ride after putting mine on. My girlfriend even noticed and made a comment about how the car doesn't bounce as much and seemed to ride smoother. Below are some pics:

Bill, what stops the bolts from crushing the tubing? Do you have tubing as spacers on the inside? How about side to side differences from Cat to Cat-are the holes sloted?

Bill, the additional weight over the aluminum is the heavy duty rear braces, they are steel
