First I want to thank Larry Salzman, AKA PHX Suncat. He suggested buying my new Orange Prowler from Russwood Chrysler, in Lincoln, NE. They were great to deal with. No phony ups on the "window sticker" price. I purchased it from them on Dec 13, 2000. Herein lies the problem. I contacted "Select One Transport" to deliver the Cat from Lincoln, NE to South San Francisco, CA area. This company was recommended by one of these active Prowler members. I don't want to embarrass him. I called every week to ask if it had been picked up yet. Never was. I finally asked someone in charge when they thought it might be picked up. He said he didn't want to loose my business, but he couldn't be sure when it ever would be picked up. I finally gave up on Jan 19th, 2001 I was also recommended "All Enclosed Air Ride". I called them twice and no one answers the phone. Only an answering machine to call you back. They never called back. After the trouble I have already had I wasn't going with someone I couldn't even get a hold of. I finally went with "DAS" Dependable Auto Shippers. I called them on Jan 19th, 2001 and they picked up the car the next day and took it from the dealer in Lincoln to Omaha, NE. There it sat for a few days until yesterday Feb 5th, 2001 when it came in to Hayward, CA. I got it today, and I am so happy. It is exactly what I hoped it would look like, and in perfect condition. ------------------ |

Jim - First congrats on finally getting your cat  What a long wait. I'd be going crazy over all of that. Second, thanks for explaining it was no fault of Russwood C/P for the long wait. They are fine people, and with their two car showroom, they probably went out of their way to protect your cat - they did mine and others who bought there. Third, I'm glad you are happy with the new cat, you lucky dog! I wish I had the one you got. Enjoy it now - too much time was wasted. ------------------ |
