Need all information on pricing and installation of Trailer hitch. Also would like to know where best pricing is on a trailer, luggage rack and bras for the car and trailer. Does the bra scratch the paint?

davidn or Laddie will give the info that you need on the prices, I think Larry Lord has the Most miles on a Trailer and he will give all the info on the Bra deal.

One thing that I know for a fact is the you will most definately need to run the Bra on the trailer and put the rear mud flaps on the Kat.

Welcome to the Board.

You can order the Trailer hitch from any Chrysler Plymouth dealer for $225.00. Installing it requires removing both rear bumpers, dropping down the transmission cooler and drilling two 1 1/8" holes in the back frame. The holes are for inserting 2 nutplates for the hitch. Takes about 2 to 3 hrs. if you have the right size drill bit. Realrod has a nice luggage chest that fits right in the trailer hitch it's called the Weekender. Check it out at www.Realrod.com.

You also asked about the luggage rack. I have the one from the factory and I can tell you that there is a problem with the rack, at least the early ones. They break. I had mine rewelded and repainted and I have not had any trouble. Others on this board have had the rack break and scatter their stuff on the road. If this problem has not been cured by the factory, I would recommend that you look into the "Weekender" as opposed to the one from the factory.

Welcome to the board.
I have about 13,500 on my car and about 1/2 of that I was pulling the trailer.

Having a custom painted car I was concrened about the paint wear. But I see no damage to the paint from the bra....I do remove it and wash the trailer and make sure the back of the bra is clean & dry before reinstalling........the car bra is so UGLY, I have only had it on the car 1 time....unless you have a dark color car I would check out the custom bra in color....Speedlingerie........I think Do search for color bra

Love my trailer, and would not do without it and still have my Prowler

All the prices listed are retail you should be able to get 10% to 20 % off.
we bought 6 trailers last month with chrome for $4200 each, that is $75 over cost.
Bra dose not harm the paint but you should remove it if it gets wet and let dry and then put it back on.
