What automobile if any, would you trade your beloved Kat for to have the same kind of enjoyment if cost is not a consideration? |

None, there is not a car I would prefer over this, in fact, if I had not bought this, I would not have one at all. ------------------ |

I think the Prowler is the best bang for the buck And still would own one even if I could buy any other car made but, if cost is not an option Lamborghini Diablo V4 all wheel drive would be nice! ------------------ |

I will not trade the Cat for anything. This is the car I was after. That doesn't preclude me from buying the two remaing cars on my list though. 1959 Sport Fury Convertible and 1970 Superbird ------------------ |

Midlife, I have said this before I will drive my Prowler until they pry my bony hands from the wheel and plant me in the ground. The Euro cars are OK. Boxters, Lamborghini, 911 and yugo. But for those of us who do not point our pinkies north when we drink tea, or for that matter do not drink the foul brown water, these cars are a poor substitute for the PROWLER!!!! Just my opinion. I didn't mean to offend any of you yugo owners ------------------ |

I would trade for my PANOZ,Guys do yourself a favor and get a chance to drive one. If you think our Prowlers stop traffic these will have you thinking you are a movie star. the supercharged model is unbelievable. No rattles,no squeaks. Blows the doors off of anything on the road. If you have any problem you call the STV Ford dealership near you and they roll out the red carpet! You can call the factory and they call you back! Sorry I sold mine. |

I wouldn't trade my Prowler for anything. In fact I had to get another one. Soon I will have two, if it ever gets delivered. Trucking company's delay, not D/C's. I have to disagree with the Panoz. This has to be one of the ugliest cars ever made. I bet you get looks when driving it. It would be like Drew Carey's, Mimi. When she walks in a room with that makeup and the way she dresses, I bet everybody looks at her. Not because she looks good, but because she looks so bad. By the way, when I take my Prowler in to my dealer, you would think I was "somebody important". They treat me like I am some sort of god (small g). I can go watch my Prowler being worked on and I can talk with the guy that actually works on my car, not just a guy with a board in his hand. ------------------ |

have you guys ever seen a PANOZ in person? If not hold your judgement until you do. the car does not photo well I agree but looks so much different in person. Go to http://www.foxvalleymotorcars.com/ and take a look at the 99' titanium Panoz limited addition which was my car. (margin call had to sell The car is stunning in person. They also got my Blue 512TR(another margin call). I hope I'm better at picking cars than stocks! Should you ever run into a panoz on the road do not attempt anything radical. It will be embarrassaing. When i owned the panoz I was always looking for a prowler to mess with but I never found one here in beautiful south jersey. Oh I also got quite tired of everyone asking me,"Is that Prowler". So the logical step was just buy the prowler which I will admit is quite luxourious compared to the panoz Hal |

Hal-I like the Panoz, but have only seen pics. I think the Prowler looks better, and if I had to trade, taking daily use and repair service into consideration, would probably choose the NEW Viper. ------------------ |

I'll agree with Jim Clayton, and yes Hal, I've seen a yellow Panoz up close. At the Scottsdale Pavillions Auto Show, a yellow Panoz shows up and parks about 8 spots away from 6 Prowlers grouped together. I looked the car over pretty good, OK it will GO! On the other hand, I watched maybe 15 to 20 people look at this car the three hours it was there. Compare that to 800-1000 people wrapping themselves around the Prowlers, that pretty much tells the story as to which car has the magnetism. I think this guy's feelings were hurt, as I haven't seen since |

While I love the looks of the Prowler, I couldn't stand the poor build quality of the two I had and service (or lack thereof) that I got with the two. They are gone and I am back in a new Porsche again. May not turn as many heads as the Prowler (although the Speed Yellow color attracts alot of attention) but, I buy cars for me and not to entertain the masses. So while not everyone looks, I enjoy a silky smooth ride that corners like it's on rails, runs like a bat outta hell right outta the box and gives me a 6-speed to boot. I still love the looks of the Prowler just not the way mine were put together and dealers that made incompetence their job #1. ------------------ Mods: 2001 Speed Yellow Porsche Cabriolet |

Trey - You gave it your best shot, buying two Prowlers showed that you started out with faith. If I bought two of the same car and had troubles that weren't fixed, I'd buy something else also. Nobody can fault your decision. I hope you are extremly happy with the Porsche - you deserve it after the time you spent trying to correct two cats. I like the part about riding on rails!!! ------------------ |
