I have a quick question on the sticker price of the 2000 Woodward.

A dealer in Ohio is quoting me a sticker of 46,900. I thought the sticker was a little lower than that??

Any Woody owners out there.

I would be the owner of a woodward if the dealer I went to first would have negotiated. They marked their woodward up $15K and wouldn't come down. Love the woodward, but not for $60+

Ended up with a black from another dealer

Maybe he's including shipping to you, taxes, or their destination charge is different. It's worth asking him.

I don't know about the taxes but I looked at the MSRP for shipping charge on my black cat that was shipped to central Texas same as the woodward which I bought new from a dealer in Chicago. $725 for both cars.

Maybe you guys can help me with a decision. Looked at Prowlers today. Deal is set, but my choice is between a 2000 Woodward at $44k and a 2001 Orange Pearl at 45k. Which do you think I should get? Reasons?
Thanks.

Welcome aboard Foowowee.

In my humble opinion I would go with the Woodward. Reasons: It's the first two tone Prowler, it's a limited (only 151 or 153 made depending on who you talk to), and just look at it

If you decide on the Orange let me know. The woman I am helping find a Prowler is not sure she wants one of the pre-production Woodwards.

Good luck with your purchase.

I don't know what the # is of the Woodward. I'll post it tomorrow. However, I drove both cars, and the orange one was kind of noisy in the rear (could be that's because it was sitting outside for a while in 20 degree temps). Also it had a tick in the engine). The Woodward, which was sitting in the middle of the showroom, seemed to be quieter in the rear area, and no tick in the engine.
Thanks for your input so far.

Foowowee,

The dealer let you test drive both. No dealer down here would let me touch one until I put a contract down. I wonder if its just me. Mine had 5 miles when I sat down for the first ride.

Alley Cat, such the diplomat

The # of the Woodward is 21. Any comments on the noisy rear area or the engine tick? Sounds like a noisy lifter.

Bought the orange one yesterday. Although I liked the WW, couldn't get over the idea it as a "year old" car. Thanks to all who gave advice.
