It was a sunny 68 degrees as the "BadKat" is trailered to the 4th Annual "Drag and Shine" Car and Truck Show at the US 19 Dragstrip in Albany, Ga. "What is it daddy?" a little boy asked as the BadKat eased off the trailer. "Dunno." said daddy, "never seen one before."
Oh but yes, the competitors have seen the BadKat before and it's not a welcome sight to those hoping to take home a win. With two fresh coats of Zaino Brothers sparkling on the skin, today the BadKat means business.

All day the BadKat again draws the biggest crowd of onlookers, and as the evening draws to a close, the annnouncer again calls a familiar name. Yes, the "BadKat" strikes again! And a hush falls over the crowd as the "BadKat" claims the Mopar Division "Best of Class". So with the ending of another successful show, the ropes come down and the "BadkKat" is unleashed. She winks, lets out a big growl and scurries up the trailer. Watching wide-eyed, the same little boy says "Daddy, did you see it? That was a Prowler!" and with a big grin Daddy looks down and smiles and says "No son, that's not just a Prowler ... it's the "BadKat" . . . and we'll never forget it."

No clearance problems at all. Actually I could have hooked them up right below the catalytic converter, but didn't want to. I did run straight pipes for a while, but too loud. The sound of the performance stainless steel muffler and 18" echo cans, man what a deep, throaty V-8 sound. You wouldn't believe how sweet it sounds at idle and especially when you wind it tight. Everyone that hears it can't believe it s V-6. Had the muffler built by Stainless Steel Specialties in Florida.

Be glad you didn't hook up the pipes. I had a vet with side pipes, burned my leg more times than I care to remember.
