F.M.-I didn't get to the track last year, but I'll make it this year. I've enjoyed drag racing since I was 18 . I've raced both at the track and on the street-cars and bikes. We have a bunch of H.S. buddies that are still in touch and enjoy cars. I didn't go last year as the car was stock and didn't want to get ribbed. We have nostalgia races that offer a way around the roll bar issue. It's supposed to be 1/8 only, but they time you for the quarter. With the hardtop, maybe it will look more "legal". One of the worries I had was trans failure. After reading about neutral drops and the HP applied to the trans without breakage, I think our tranny's are strong enough. I'm still looking for someone to take on a twin turbo project for me but those that are capable are also aware of the computer lockdown on our cars. So I wait and try to put stuff on the car that can be used for further improvements. Hey now Gary, I'm in San Antonio now heading to Houston. I am going to the West Palm Beach deal next month for some drags. I don't think its worth it to drive all the way to TX for some racing. I would have to fill up like 6 or 7 times during a trip like that. I don't have a trailer so it would be a long haul but I hope some of you guys post some ET's after this event. I will post what I run........... |

NONONONNNONONONONNONONONNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO way. Get your butt to this event, It will be the largest gathering in the world Ever for Supercharged Kats. This track is going to be way faster than any track is Florida. Good Air, lots of HP. Rethink this. I will buy you a tank of gas. |
