It was interesting to read the "quickest prowler" messages. I would be interested in those of you that have timed your unmodified, off the floor Prowler. Let me know how fast your "plain Ol', regular, un-sooped Cat" has done the quarter or 0-60!! Carl ------------------ |

Last summer at the MOPAR Nationals my daughter and her friend took one of my Kats down the strip....she had never raced before, fell asleep at the light(1.36 reaction time) and I think they were looking for a Mall to stop by on the way down the strip, but the Kat turned in a 16.18 at 87 mph..... again... inexperienced driver, passenger, and the trunk was loaded with cleaning supplies and snacks.....the shifter also was left in drive.....was quite an experience for a couple of young ladies......ps...my son-in-law took first place in the Viper Shootout that same weekend...stock 97 GTS, turned 11.92 at 118 mph.... ------------------ |

This is the only info so far hope this helps, not sure if you have seen this, read carefully and tell me what you think. Gary at Kinko's One more thing, these cars have the Carlini Borla Exhaust, when I first picked up my Kat with this modification I could tell right away I lost some bottom end but I gained alot of top end Power and the times show it. 0-60...ET...MPH, Yes I did all 1/4 miles too This is the 2000, with 18700 miles on it. AND HAS THE MAC INTAKE. OK, we throw out the best and worst and then average. 0-60......ET.......MPH BTW, All Done in Drive. 1000 feet Remember this 1999 also has the Carlini Borla Exhaust with no other modifications. 0-60...ET...MPH 5.92 14.63 95.7 It hated the 2-3 shift The 1999 shifts softer than the 2000. 0-60......ET......MPH 99 with Gears 0-60...ET...MPH 5.42 14.10 99.2 0-60......ET......MPH Sometimes the the shifts are lazy on the 2-3, this is the reason for the times and MPH being all over the board. Plus this was some at the old Loaction and some at the New location, I feel I have pushed the limited on getting a ticket and do NOT NEED another one. ------------------ |

I did some G-Tech testing today. 2k car, 43 degrees ,almost sea level, Mac intake, X-Pipe in place of mufflers, gears, in drive. 14.37, 100.6 which is in line with Gary's car. This will be my baseline before the blower install. ------------------ |

I ran a 15.29 on the track last year. Only mod is a K&N filter. I think it was about 85 degrees. ------------------ |
