So, when I went shopping for my SLK I took my guitar amp and a guitar in it's case with me to the dealer. I wanted to make sure that I could travel (top up) with room for both items plus a soft piece of luggage. I can. Actually I can take an extra guitar and still everything fits in the trunk. I can just hear the dealer now telling other shoppers how some guy brought his whole band's equipment in and fit it all into the trunk with NO PROBLEM... Anyway, let's say I switch to a Prowler next time. Is my stuff going to fit in the trunk? Thanks. Mike |

Get a trailer and whatever fit in the SLK will fit in the trailer with room to spare. Plus you'll get alot of questions on the trailer too. ------------------ |

jmcant1, that's about it- a very thin piece of soft-sided luggage. In fact, when I went to pick mine up, I took only one piece of soft sided luggage from the flight and ended up unpacking it to fit in the trunk. That's OK, though. I still like it......A LOT. jb ------------------ |

Luggage... want you want is a really nice fine clothing carrier, the kind you have for dress clothes. These fold double and flat and have little pockets for nice tidbits. I got one for my Kats and it works just fine and has room to spare in the trunk. For the LA set, Lazar's on Ventura Blvd has these, really nice ones too. My leather one was responable at $800. ------------------ |

I have one of the original purple Prowler duffle bags. I can pack it full and fit it in the trunk. Add some jackets and other miscelleous stuff arranged around it. No problem!!! |
