Thanks Dan, your photos and measurements answered a lot of questions for me. I will be keeping the stock 99 manifolds.

The headers will be an improvement for the 2000's but I think it will be a push for the 99's.

How about a little more detail?

Why would a 99 and a 2000 differ?

Manifold clearance from what I understand is one of the reasons these headers were created for the 2000's?

I have a question and need an answer and only PROWLERMAN can answer!!

The header tubes should be equal length but I'm sure Dave and the boys at Paxton did the best that they could. It is very tight in that engine compartment. I was suprised they did came out with a set at such a fair price, the coating alone is a couple hundred bucks.

This is JOMO, Just One mans Opinion but after having one of the fastest vehicles on this Planet,(Drag Boat), I would think the Stock Manifolds for the 99 would work better than the headers but for the 2000 people they need to throw that log type manifolds away and put on the Paxton Headers for more performance. With or without the Supercharger.
