I was just wondering, do workers at Conner Ave. Plant work on both Vipers and Prowlers? When orders or supply problems cause a increase or decrease in production, are their jobs crossed over? Bob? ------------------ |

Hi Larry. My understanding (from three tours of Conner Avenue plant) is that the workers do not cross over from the Viper to Prowler line. I guess some workers could always be cross trained. On one of the tours they actually used Viper tech (the Viper line was not working) as guides for our tour of the Prowler line. The Viper & Prowler lines are two seperate lines. They meet at the end where the leak test & final prep areas are located... Someone else may be able to add more to this... laddie.. |

Not to contradict Laddie, but I seem to recall that our guide said that SOME of them do switch back and forth. I would think the final clean up, inspection people could work either side, for instance. |
