got tired of everyone asking me what kind of car it was, who made it, etc. finally had idea to paint in (plymouth prowler) in back bumper. worked great! could see people in rearview reading bumper, plus love the way it looks. glad everyone is doing thiers... looks great! |

Hi Al. Here's the contact & phone #s for the vinyl Kat decal for the wheels & dash board. Larry Mitchell, SignChef I think the price was $6 for a set of four for the center caps of wheel. In any Prowler Color. |

Laddie, I ordered a set including the dash and paid $15.00 from them and never put it on. The Kat logo is not the original and it just don't look right. Maybe it had something to do with trademark infringement if they were to reproduce it to the OEM one. I've never bothered to return them. |

I have a purple kat and painted the letters purple. It looks great! I have a bra like Laddies, instead of flames we did broken stone fading to cracks. What is SHIMMERS? Sorry, couldn't see anything different in the picture! Thanks Laddie, got the info and will call tomorrow unless MidlifeProwler has purple he wants to sell! onaprwl - many topic posts on Shimmers. See above post by David - are the letters to insert on the rear bumpers. Most, except chrome, are very reflective at night. ------------------ |

Purple Shimmers... I am awaiting some Purple samples from other vendors... so far I have not been able to match Prowler Purple, but I am still trying. All the first production Purple Shimmers were sold to Silver or Black Cats after it was discovered they did not match Prowler Purple. The sharpest ones I have seen so far were the Chrome Shimmers installed over the Purple painted letters... there was just a slight hint of Purple around the Chrome. Cool, but I am concerned about the paint staying on the bumper and then the Shimmer staying. Anyway, until the correct Purple is found, then my suggestion is Chrome or Black... lots of GREAT comments on both. Sincerely, Jay ------------------ |
