does anyone have any experience with this type camera and is it a good option? or should you have both camcorder and camera?

There is a digital camcorder/camera on the market with interchangeable lenses this allows you to use your 35mm lenses. Cost is up there about $6,000. This is where I'm going as soon as the price comes down

I use a Sony digital camcorder that has still photo option. Current models use memory stick for still storage. I can also convert video to still frame and print photo.
Pauley (Bush Cheney car) has state of the art technology in a tiny unit that uses a floppy for storage...does video and stills. Great piece of work that really delivers, and fits in shirt pocket.
