I'm still getting small nicks & scratches
on my rocker panels even after the installation of the front fender flaps.
Does anyone have the rocker panel protectors
offered from Mopar on their Kats? Are they
transparent and how are they attached to the
car?

MLP - I have seen 3M protective film installed on the under nose and along the lower sides of a yellow Prowler in Scottsdale, Az. Film is clear and I had to get within a foot or two to even see the line placement. Was a very good job, done by a company who installs window tinting. I'm giving it strong consideration for next spring. Will do the job it is intended for.

Sorry - how attached. I was told that it is stretched, cut, and heated (big blow dryer) to apply to car. Is really worth looking into. Try some HONEST window tinting places who handle 3 M protective film.

Mid life,
Check out Clearbraconnection.com. I have had film on my front nose, hood, front fenders, rockers, mirrors, headlights, door handle pockets and rear fender between black rock guard and outer fender since it was new and has saved me many rock chips. It can run 500.00 or more to do these areas but the stuff really works. The great thing with Scott at clearbraconnection is he comes to you. He is in the process of expanding to other cities so give him a call 303-791-0235.

I have had this clear bra...3M film on my car for 6 mos. now.

I love it.
Gives me added protection, and you can't see it until you get about 2ft away.

I recommend it.

Received the panel protectors from Mopar
and it turned out to be the 3M applique that
you mentioned. It came in four sections and
labeled left front, left rear etc. It was
very easy to installed, about 30 mins per
side. One thing that was good was that the
pieces came pre-cut to the exact contours of
the Kat, so trimming was uneccessary! Cost
was $100.00.
