A friend and I went on a cruise on Sunday after we went power shopping for my house. We were cruising down the road and noticed the car in front of us was staring at the Cat, what’s new, then we came around this blind turn and there was this idiot doing a u-turn on the two lane road. Well the people in front of us slammed into this nut, they didn’t see it coming but we did. Maybe they thought this person was going to complete the u-turn but at the last moment, he back up into our lane and got hit. The fun has just begun. This person decides to run; the car has major damage on the right rear, bent trailing arm and a tire rubbing badly on the damaged parts. Therefore, he chances direction from the U-turn and bolts past me. I proceed to do a Uee and chased after him. He was moving at a good clip and come around another blind turn and the Idiot almost lost it cause the right rear blew out. He sees us coming down the road and heads up a dead street. We called the cops and told them we were there waiting for them. Before the cops can get there he comes back down the dead road, pulls across the road with traffic coming from both directions, to say the least people had to lock the brake up to avoid the Idiot running the stop sign and back on the road heading back towards the scene of the crime. Well he blazes past the accident site, runs the next light and is sitting in the left turn lane to head north bound on 15. I pull up next to him and rolled the window down and told him 3 times he had better stop. He gave me a smart*ss look and shuck his head, NO. That’s when I notice this is a Marine in dress blues with eyes redder than my Cat. So we head out on Highway 15, we were going about 80 and this Marine Idiot was pulling away from quickly. At that time, we felt it was safer to hang back and not endanger anyone else. He had to be going close to a hundred on three wheels (front wheel drive car). The tire was still shredding and remove parts from the inner fender well, to say the least to people in front of him gave him plenty of room. Then we lost him. I took the next exit which was Mission and stopped at the stop sign. Saw skid marks showing him going right but after that turn there was 2 ways to go. I stopped the car and ran and stopped the Border Patrol Agent and told him the story, at this time a trucked pulled up and said this guy went to the right, again on a Dead end street (LOSER). The BP Agent and the White truck and the Cat went looking for him, HE WAS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. I was pissed to say the least. So I went back to the scene of the accident and gave the cop a full report and his radio came on, here is the good news, the Highway Patrol with the help of a neighbor, in the area that we lost the Marine, saw this Marine drive the car over an embankment and was wondering around. He was wasted drunk. Whoopee. Before I left the scene of the accident, I walked up to the woman who was driving the other car that was involved in the accident and gave her a hug; she thanked me for my efforts. I started across the road and she said, “ When I tell my friends this story and I need to know what kind of car it is?” I said it is a Plymouth Prowler and then said, “ IT WAS PROWLERMAN to the rescue.” Able leap tall building in a single … |
