In leaving your car at dealership for repairs everyone wants to touch , ride , sit , ect. all over your cars.It is my job not only to repair but to keep dreamers away from your Cat. To be sure it is returned to you in better condition than you left it. A day in the life of your Prowler Tech. |

My tech is also good with my car. I had to leave my car for 3 days and it came backed detailed and better than it was when it went in. Neal, thanks for the post and Welcome. |

In the 2 1/2 years I have had my Cat, my dealer has always made arrangements to service my car as soon as I pulled in. I have been fortunate in that I have not had to leave the car overnite. My tech is in the same class with you, Neal. Unfortunately not all dealers take this attitude. We are the fortunate ones. |

Neal - it sounds like you treat each car like you own it. I respect that very much. I worry more about the lot runners (the low paid help) that move the cars in, out, and around the dealership for the service, sales, and body shop. One parked my Dakota in a tight spot and opened the door into the car next door. Mine was a small chip, but the other person's car had a small red dent in it. Bet they didn't mention it to the owner when they picked it up. I seen it ;happen, and got a touch up paint for free. Keep up the good work Neal, you can wrench my cat anytime! ------------------ |

Hi Neal, Thanks for the post. You can also work on my car anytime. Haven't had it yet long enough for a problem, but you sound like a great tech. I have been worrying about leaving it, so will call ya! jb ------------------ |

How is this for a 5 Star dealer! The tech today would not put on a part they just received from DC as he was not satisfied with the finish. The Parts manager drove me over to a DC distribution center where we were met at the door with two other parts that I could pick from. Found a perfect one & returned to the dealer. All of this was done so I would not have to drive 50 miles to the dealer again. Of course there is a DC owned dealership about 3 miles from the house...forget that dealership! |
