Did DC do anything different with the hp of the 2001 models versus the 2000 models?

Or did they give more pep to the Black-Tie's and Woodwards versus stock ones?

I ask cause I had a 2000 Silver that I bought new and I thought it was pretty quick (stock). About 3 weeks ago I got a new 2001 Black-Tie and it is noticabely quicker in acceleration.

Only mod to either was the K&N filter.

I love this car.......

Have you been to the dealer to ask and check if there are PCM and TCM updates for your car. The last Tech session we had I think 9 cars and 7 had either PCM or TCM or both upgrades. These were 1999 and 2000's. This made a noticable difference in the transmission for the better to mine.

It's quicker off the line then the other was. Not a tremendous amount but enough to get me ask the question.
