The radio switches on the back of the steering wheel in my 2000 Kat malfunctions
now and then; yesterday I finally lost functions on both switches. I'm still able
to control the radio with the conventional
switches. Can anyone advise me on this problem?

Gary,
How did you finally get the switches to work?
Or are you going back to the dealer. I have
the worst 5 star dealership in my area. I had
to drive 30 miles twice for these morons to
examine my broken hubcaps before they knew what to order. What they missed on the first
go round,God only knows. Now I have to take it in again so they could put it on because
it's not allowed for me to do it myself.
So, now you can see why I don't wish to go back there unless its absolutely necessary.

The mute switch is the square button at the
center of the volume switch at the right
backside of the steering wheel.
