Our local paper has a Sunday insert magazine and today they had a feature story from Car & Driver stating that the Prowler would remain a Plymouth until the 2002 model? Is that consistent with earlier reports?

I wonder if this rumor is mixed up with the
one I heard which is that they( chrysler ) will keep the present format until 2002 and then there will be a change? Dont remember where I heard or saw this.

My understanding is that the last Plymouth Prowlers will be built up to the Conner Ave. plant closing for vacations, August, 2001. After vacation and retool time, will become Chrysler Prowler.

They are going to change the front emblem and rear bumpers, is there anything else?

I have been told that Viper is marketed in Europe under the Chrysler Brand already. Chrysler Prowler many not be a big deal to DC people.
