I think it is time to set everything to rest with the POA and PPC. It does not matter which organization you belong to. How does this look when a new member joins in, (fighting who is going to get credit for something, or who did something wrong. We all have one thing in common that brings us together and that is our Prowlers. It is a place where we can share our experiences and wisdom. Most of all it is a place where a disabled 13 yr old boy can come to and read some of the enjoyment that we get out of our Prowlers. And also get a wish come true. |

Let me AGAIN say, that if it were not for Nowell and the PPC,,,I would never have met the many wonderful people that I have met since the day that joined the PPC. As everyone well knows, I was a state director for the PPC for over a year. Nowell and I have had plenty of disagreements and arguements since in that period of time and even many more since. I chose to no longer be a member of the PPC and also not to post on their discussion forum. HOWEVER, I try to be civil and not to interfeer with or destroy anything that the PPC does. I am not perfect and have at times made comments which should have been left unsaid but on the whole I feel that I and many others have always tried to do what we feel is in the best interest of the Prowler Owners. There have been some unintended problems and misunderstandings arise from some good intentions recently. I feel that the problem is both factions feeling the need to disect each and every statement by the opposing site in order to spin the message to best fit their own needs. This needs to stop! I feel confident in saying that DavidN is not just doing the Patrick trip for the glory or or to promote the POA. I am saddened that it may now look to many people to be the case. I feel that the misunderstanding pertains to David's mention of the POA shirts in his post. When I spoke to David he said that the post was only a cut and paste to save himself some time. David had many people who had previously ordered shirts, they are now ready, and he will be seeing these people this weekend at the cruise for Patrick. Not the best judgement to put both items (shirts and Patrick's cruie) in the same post but an honest mistake by a very generous and caring person. I will stand behind David's intentions and my hope is that maybe the post can be re-read with a little more understanding of all of the facts and possibly a different conclusion will be drawn. The mention of the media and press, I personally took as a good thing. What could be better for a young boy than to have his picture in the paper and maybe even get on TV? Quite something to brag about I thought,,,maybe I was wrong? ------------------ |

I agree. As a new owner, I found both boards to be very helpful. They are not totally identical so the are NOT redundant! When both work together let them both get kudos! I am a member of both and intend to stay that way! Go POAAAAAAAAA and PPCCCCCCCCCC! (Sorry, just took of in my Cat!) |

Think of when you were a child. Did anything ever happen that the media was involved in that you can have for the rest of your life, you know the 15 min. of fame we all want in life. When I was 6 I had a Kidney infection and was in Riley Childrens Hospital for 2 weeks. Just before I was to be released the media was to come by and take my picture and give me a transistor radio, but it was in the winter in the mid west and a snow storm came thru and guess what, NO NEWSPAPER reporter ever came. I was released the next day and still remember 36 years later that they never came. I think what has been said is awful. PLEASE STOP. this is not for POA or PPC it is to fulfill a wish and that is how it should have been looked at. BEFORE MAKING A POST Remember to put brain in gear before fingers in motion. I would like to see the POA and PPC members in the area be there together as PROWLER OWNERS TO FULFILL THIS YOUNG MANS DREAM David, you have done a fantastic job in promoting the Prowler events in the Dallas Fort Worth area, PLEASE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. Really wish I could join you this weekend, keep US updated on the WISH COME TRUE ------------------ |
