Noticed when I sat in a prowler that driver can not see right fender/wheel. Is this something that you get used to? Anybody had trouble scuffing the right wheel or fender?

Looks like I am going silver. The Bow Tie was $49900 not $48000 and I can get a silver much cheaper.. sigh! Oh well, I am sure I will like a super sleek, silver cat too!

CM81 - You will like it, you'll learn to drive it, just buy the car! The worst you can do is wrap the right front around a telephone pole, but you will still have a three legged cat.

CM81,
I'm with everybody else. I had apprehensions
about crashing the car too but you'll get
the hang of it very quickly. If you don't
try to parallel park much, then it wouldn't
be an issue. I would be more attentive in not
running the nose of the Kat up against a curb
or concrete parking barrier when you drive
into a stall. Remember to stop SHORT!
Good Luck in your search for the Silver!!

Don't pay over sticker. Offer all dealers you can find with a Bowtie full sticker if thats the color you really want. Pay any more, you have paid too much!!! You should know that the drive seat can adjust up, I am just over 6' and I can't see the whole front end. You learn to judge by driving them.

CM81,

I have driven boats all my life, OK I was about 6 when I started. Driving the cat is like driving a boat. Keep the nose in the center and you will be OK.

I placed a piece of tape on garage floor as to where the left front tire should be so the right side is where I want it. Now I just line up the left side and drive in.

I would order the mud flaps from the dealer once you decide the car, Heck order them now and you will have them when you get the car. I guess you could install curb feelers to the mud flap until you get use to it. (hehe) THE GUYS ARE RIGHT STOP SHORT or you will skin it's nose

If you really want a Black Tie, keep trying. Alot of silver should be at dealers at list. So you don't have to be in real hurry for a silver.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting

CM81- dealer in Oklahoma City has 4-'00 Silver In Stock, you can probably get one for no more than list. He posts in our classified. Good Luck!

Hey PaulR

What dealer in OKC??? I just bought a Silver '00 from Bob Howard on Saturday.. only one they've seen all year.. and Bob Moore says they don't have any either.. I also paid over sticker.. but I have this delayed gratification problem.. I watched my Kat roll off the trailer and couldn't wait and they got me.. oh well.. I love it.. traded my 2000 GS-400 for it.. I couldn't wait any longer and I LOVE THIS CAR!! 89 miles so far..

Let me welcome you to the Board.

Glad you could make it.

I am sure Paulr will get back to you soon.

If you want to put some miles on Your Cat, come to the Grand Canyon.

Take care

Maybe DC could make a booster seat for the shorter drivers? Hey, it's just a suggestion.
