Does anyone have any suggestions on how to camouflage the unsightly "power plug" cap? |

There are a couple of options: 1) a cigarette lighter made of billet aluminum 2) a fake safety kill switch ala Nascar 3) a night light made of aluminum and carbon fiber 4) a $400 Valentine One radar detector ------------------ |

I did not wanted to get involved in the Valentine discussion, but here it goes. I always wanted one, and finally order it about 2 months ago. Could not be happier. That is until I started to drive with it. First the detector is to heavy for its succion cups. All it did (even on its "intelligent" mode) was go off every second. I got tired of hearing the thing just go off. I had to press the mute button all the time, as it did not remembered the mute function every time the car was turned off. It seems like a very well built unit, and I was sorry it didnot work for me. It just seem like the $199.99 detector would have done the same work. As for right now, I'am still looking for the "semi-perfect" detector. Next on the list is the Passoport 7500 and if that one does not work, then I will try the Whistler unit. PS did you know that Mr. Valentine used to work for Cinncinati Microwave, makers of Passport/Escort My $0.02 ------------------ |

My cups work fine, put the V1 in the L mode, it will work fine, I use the A mode on the Highway, you will be sorry if you use something else. Had a Passport, OK, but the V1 is WAY BETTER. |
