Hey Guys,

My front passenger side door speaker pops any time there is the slightiest bit of Bass. I have no idea how it started doing that. I think the speaker must have blown? I want to take the inside door panel off but I do not know how. I removed the 2 screws near the front of the door and one in the cubby hole and the side panel would not budge. I removed all the visible screws(3) and I was pulling on the panel and it would not budge. How do i get it lose or am I missing something? i do not want to break the panel. I was pulling and pushing pretty hard but I was afraid of breaking the panel. i just need to get to the front speaker in the door. Is the speaker covered under warranty? I did nothing like blast the radio and cause this problem.

Thanks a Million!

Brian,

After removing the 3 screws the panel is still held with 4 plastic push pins, and the trim around the door handle.

I bought a door panel removal tool but really no help.

Using a stiff blade putty knife I found the pins and worked the panel loose. Then the wiring for the windows and door locks must be disconnected.

The trim around the door handle must be removed too. It has to be slid back(I think)with a trim stick.

There is a thread detailing this on this site.
