Well, my Dad was married once before he married my mother. Had a son and daughter from that marriage. Married my mother and had 5 daughters and 1 son. My mother was 40 and 42 when the last 2 were born. I guess he didn't need any help from the milkman.

What I didn't tell you, was that after he had the two at 50 and 52.......he died of a massive coronary at the age of 61. He died just a few months before my youngest son was born.....I was 23. He has been gone 28 years now.....

I'm sure that would be very hard, Laddie, having your grandkids so far away. Our oldest grandson was born in Charleston, while my son was stationed there. But they live near us here in Michigan now......am so glad....would be devastated if they moved away.....they are such a joy!!

The milkman you say!
My grandparents had 2-boys.(My Dad and Uncle)
My Dad had 3-boys. (Myself and 2-brothers)
My wife and I have 4-boys!
My second oldest son has 2-boys.
My oldest son has 3-GIRLS!!!!
Yup I'd say the milkman made some stops. Can you figure out where?

We ain't even got kids yet! We should probably have some before I hit 30 though. I don't wanna be a geezer when we have young ones.

We have 11 Grandchildren, 8 Boys 3 Girls and number 12 is due in January. I don't know the sex of this one yet. Oldest is 10years the youngest is 10 months. There is a set of twin boys in this group. We still have one daughter without children so there is a number 13 in our future for sure.

And how many kids do you have that produced that many grandchildren?

My oldest son has our two grandchildren.

Our youngest son is still looking for a mate!

Hazen - you're way behind. I was married at 18, done having kids at 23, was a grandmother at 44 and now I'm back into second childhood with the guys on this board!!

Oh, and loving every minute of it!!

Just a reminder that I started this as a joke after we had a "pets" thread. I should have known everyone would start bragging about their grandkids. I babysat my 7 month old grandson, all by myself tonight and he didn't seem much the worse for wear when his parents returned. I hope I didn't do too good of a job, they will invite me back too often.
