Welcome to the Board.

Are you sure it's not check gauge light when the car gets to hot?

The far left corner of the idiot lights?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for about 10 or 15 minutes. This will reset the computer supposedly. When they hook up their computer at the dealer it should tell them what is the exact problem. If all else fails they should replace your computer module in the trunk. Good luck.

We have no Prowler owners on this board in MS to help you to find a dealer. I looked but no one is close by.

StevenClick Here for the owners in a near by state. Maybe someone can help you to find a Great Dealer to help you with your problems.

I hope this helps, please post the solution to your problem so you can help other Prowler owners if this problem rears its ugly head.

Again , Welcome to Prowleronline.

Hi Steven - Again Welcome.

The dealer should not have any problem diagnosing the Prowler engine. The electronics is standard to many of the DC products. The engine is the same as 300M. The computer should be telling them an error code. Do you know which it is ? Many of us have the complete service manuals and could try and look it up. If everytime the code points to a spark plug / wire etc - have they ever changed the coil as well? Have they checked the wires to the coil? These seem to be the most logical steps.

One last thing - Ask them if the problem can be with the "idiot" light and that no problem really exists. The key to this is - Are new error codes being recorded?

Hope this helps - keep us posted.

It has already had its pcm replace . Thanks Laddie but Covington is a little to far for me to drive as I live by Biloxi. Got my invoice and it saids a C/S check eng light came on. Usually has work down at Jim Robinson. Parker on incline for 5 min in drive way and will come on. Has had history of injector probl CAUSE: Misfire #5 cyl replace spark plug and wires 08121505 wire, ingition secondary-test and replace. The tech has reset the computer and drive home from dealer and the light come back on. The tech told me that this car is one of the fastest prowler that he has driven and that dc has modified the engine when building the car. Has also said that this car is able of 145mph but you will never see that speed because it does not have a lot of down force. It does seem like it is a fast as it bet a new Firebird with the Ls1 engine. Could this be true.

Forget the light, if it is that fast I wouldn't worry about it.

Email CJ at only1cjay@home.com

She knows the Tech GURU at the Factory and will try to get an answer to you in a couple of days.
