Hey everyone! Just wanted to touch base with those of you that have the chrome grill by Custom Coatings in Fla. Need to know how durable the finish is. Would it be necessary to redo every few years, or is it better than that? I really like the look and think this will be my next project. Thanks.

I had my grill chromed (actualy bought 2nd grill & had it chromed) by Custom Coatings and I'm pleased with the work. It has been on the Kat for 14 months. So, not sure about five years... OK so far...

Check the forum. Some folks were not as pleased. But, there are not many choices if you want to chrome a plastic grill.... laddie...

you have to order one from your local dealer,send it off when you get it back you will have an xtra grill in case you sell yours or when buy another one or to switch back.unless you want to go with out one for
6 weeks!!!!!!!

Love the look of my chrome grill, Only 6 months but still looks great.

JIM ANDERSON is the one that had the 1st Prowler grill done as far as I know, spring `99. Before I had mine done I checked with him and he was still pleased.
