The other day, I read a post suggesting that the top be placed in the up position, but not secured to keep dust out and keep it from stretching when parked in the garage (or something like that). My question, as silly as it seems, if the top is down all summer or any length of time, does it ruin it or cause it to develop permanent wrinkles, like mine?

Welcome to the Board first of all.

I keep my top down 90% of the time. When you put it up it shows some wrinkles but they soon fade away. 5 or 10 minutes or so.

Manny - My top is down 98% of the time. Keep in garage with thick, all cotton queen size comforter laying across windshield to trunk, and car cover over the top. Hardly any dust. Works for me in this dusty, desert climate. Top shows no wrinkles when up.

Welcome to the board, Manny. If I didn't already respond, I did receive your email about the shirt and it will be on its way to you soon!

I generally leave my top down when in the garage and I cover with my car cover. Never had any problems with wrinkling!

Thanks for the suggestion. Next will be the car cover. Black sure gets dusty!
