We had a blast. Parade with 14 Prowlers then on to TMS. 22 yes 22 Prowlers at the race track. We had one glich, there was a Prowler hitting another Prowler. Wow, no it wasn't me. It was Debbie getting tagged by a Black Tie with 34 miles on, Mike was freaking but was still a great sport that he is as we all know. We all stopped looked at the damage and I borrowed a Screw driver for Mike and he took over. He took out the lense, pulled it out and put it back in and you could never tell that it was involved in a front end wreck, whew. Debbie's car received no damage at all. No harm no foul. There is More. I got in a little trouble at TMS, I was falling back and passing everyone on the track except the pace car. The pace car was only doing 80 MPH. The second time out I did the same thing , no problem. Heere it caomes, now the third time out I guess i was a marked man. I lagged back ,started to pass everyone as usually, Mike didn't seem to mind, BUT THE PACE TRUCK IN THE REAR DID. At 100mph he was 3 feet on my @$$ trying to get me to slow down, NOT, I took the high groove so he couldn't get on the right side of me to tell me anything. hehehehe I sort of felt like a d*ck because on the last couple of runs they had 4 pace cars on the Track instead of 3 and the speed dropped to 55 MPH. Sorry Dave and Paul did a great job, we all had a blast and THe Woodward was vey cool and Mike K. is still the best. Thanks yall Gary C |

Mike was a true champ about it and all the people involved had a great time. Oh ya, Mike had a nineth prowler for about 15 seconds. Mike, be careful you might end up with a card that isn't yours (hehehe). I know it was a mistake Mik getting into a regular silver that was in front of his Black Tie, he fired it up in the pit area and was almost ready to drive off when he finally realized that ... WOW... this is not my car.. I guess you had to be there to see the look on his face. Thanks to David for everything and the LimoBus, that was a real treat. Soon!!! No donuts to be had! Paul, yes the Limo Bus was a life saver. This bus is sweet, 2 TV's, VCR, bitch'n wood through out, crystal glasses, leather seats and the Dallas heat killer air conditioning. Jimmy, the driver, was a great help getting us killer BQ sammies and snacks. BTW, the Limo was Daves and Erica's treat to all of us attending this event. thanks |

David, They just opened KY Speedway this summer, about 45 minutes away, and my cousin is the owner's attorney. I will have to find out if they would authorize a similar event. I really want to get the Cat on a track, and it is a 1 1/2 mile tri-oval. They had a Craftsman Truck race and an IRL race this year and will have a Busch Race next year. I am going to have to see what my cousin can do. I doubt we could come up with 22 Prowlers, however. I don't think there are nearly that many close to here. I rarely ever see one, even at cruise ins. Thanks for the info. |

Gary, There are 7 Indiana, one Ky, and 12 Ohio members. Most of the Ohio members are up near Cleveland which is about 225 miles away plus 35 miles into Ky. A lot of the people around here must not drive their Prowlers much, and most of them obviously are not members. I have talked to several in the past 3 weeks but don't see them posting yet. I did get 2 emails from them, so far. I was in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN last weekend for the Shades of the Past Show and talked to one guy but the other Prowlers were moving and I was sitting and watching the cruise so I never got to talk to them. The guy I talked to told me the dealer told him they had left over parts and that is why they made more Red Prowlers. He believed everything the dealer told him, including there were only about 600 Red ones. I told him he seriously needed to get on this site. |

Gary - what exactly makes me infamous? Ed - Carol is dying to get on a track with her car. She had tried to get a group together for a track in this area, but to no avail. Maybe we should try again......would you be willing to come this far for a weekend, it's only 4 1/2 hours (I used to live in Cinci)! Remind people when you talk to them that we aren't a "club".....no membership dues, etc. you just "participate" in the activities. I also know that a lot of people read the site, but aren't comfortable posting. So, if you plan events, post them here and if they want to go, they can call you or email you privately. As you have read here, some of the guys have had business cards made up with their name, number and Prowleronline.com on them. Hey, Avery makes do-it-yourself business cards...if you are a little creative, you can do them yourself! Make some, have them made, pass them out!!! Then you do what Carol does......chase them, hunt them down and give them a card!! I have had people leave theirs in mine. One guy left a card in mine with a note saying he also had a black cat and a friend of his was looking for one and was mine for sale? NOT! My car was parked at work, and he had stopped and stuck it in my side window. Anyway I called him back and we chatted for a while. It works! Nobody else can say that they got hit in the rear with a black tie by Mike. The best part was that there was no damage and nobody got hurt. I can tell you all one thing after this is that the bumpers are staying on my car. If it wasn't for the bumpers there would have been some damage. No had hard feelings Mike. Debbie |

Hi Ya'll, First I want to say how great it was to take part in such an incredible and funnnnnnnnn event. Those DFW people sure know how to put on one Texas size party!!!! Secondly I want to thank David, Paul, their wives and Gary for putting together such a wonderful, well organized event and bringing so many great people together. Texas Motor Speedway was exhilarating to say the least! That big oval track takes on a whole different dimension once your on it. Coming out of the turns and hitting the end of the straight away at 100+ MPH sure does get your heart pounding and the adrenialine rushing! What an awsome sight seeing all those Prowlers on the track! It was great meeting everyone and now being able to put faces to the the names. I have quite a few pictures to put in the event section. If anyone else has pictures to share, please e-mail them to me. Hey Gary, thanks for not doing donuts or kissing a wall in the Woodward! ------------------ |
