I amuse myself by showing passerby the diminutive trunk on the Prowler. Everyone points to the book size "Thing" bolted on the passenger side trunk area and queries "What is that?" I tell them "It's the thing that makes something else work." Please help me sound less obtuse and tell me exactly what that thing is? Thank you. |

Not a stupid question, I was told in was the amp to the stereo, not. It is the brain box for the car. I hope I am correct. |

If you really want to sound Hi-Tech-Chrysler calls it the "Transmission Control Module" page 8w-90-22 of the manual |

You guys are all teriffic. I can't wait to pop open the trunk and tell anyone who'll listen that it's the TCM. Hope they don't ask how it works! |

Well, Tom, if they ask how it works, just tell them that the Prowler is a highly technical piece of machinery and even if you did explain it to them, they probably wouldn't understand it anyway! |

Instructions REAL MEN DON'T NEED STINKING INSTRUCTIONS Wouldn't you know a statement like that would come from a WOMAN couldn't resist CJ The owners manual could give you years of reading. They need a CD version ------------------ |

Now Larry, somebody must have read it to figure out what it was.......did I refer to men only with that statement? And I think you should revise that statement to say...."REAL MEN DON'T ADMIT THEY NEED INSTRUCTIONS!" Couldn't resist either, Larry! LOL [This message has been edited by CJ (edited 09-17-2000).] |
