about your car(s)?

My 2 year old calls it, "My Silver race car"

The Friday night dates I take with either my 2 y.o. or 4 y.o. daughters in the Prowler.
We cruise around the neighborhood, then go to the yacht club for drinks.

Life is great.

The thing I like best about my 99 black cat:

The fact that I wanted it from the moment I saw one and my husband gave me one for our 30th (actually ended up being 32nd) anniversary. I also like the way it makes me smile whenever I am driving it and that it provides Bob and I a lot of cruisin' fun.

I bring my son in my Woodward Edition Prowler to the local ice cream shop on a 90 degree day last Saturday at 7 pm. 2 parking spots open up directly in front of the front door as soon as I get there like the parting of the red sea. I take both spots and say, "Hey this is perfect. 2 spaces, my car is safe."

We go inside and I look out the window. I see 100 little munchkins circling the car with their parents. Then I see melting ice cream cones, smily little faces and hands covered with tooty fruity and hot fudge, out of control strollers and big wheels. A ROLLER BLADING TEENAGER WITH A SQUIRT GUN! Then I think, uh oh, "Sticky Hands" "Crisis Management Strategy." "I hope that Zaino stuff works."

But then I saw the wonderful expressions on everyones face, parents and kids together, and the happiness that the Cat gave to these people. Thats what I like most about my Cat.

50 or so napkins later my son and I got cleaned up and left the ice cream, bananas, nuts and cherries behind. Car unscathed. Munchkins and parents happy. Son happy. Dad happy. And all because of a parked car.

What blows my mind the most is the old ladies, like 80 plus, that give me the thumbs up or the OK sign. What gives?????

Just getting done with a 7000 mile tour every states reaction to the car is about the same.WOW. Or maybe it's my great looks.

I still get a ton of people with the Bullet hole I got in Farmington.

Like last night, all by yourself, 77 degrees, top down, 80 plus, just enjoying the drive, love this car.

I know u r serious about the 70-80 year old lady crowd......I live close to a church and on Sunday's they will twist all the way around when sitting in a back seat to get a better look and then give you the "thumbs up" sign and a big (one was toothless) smile!!!! Ain't it great....but I am afraid they will dislocate their back or get a hernia....LOL.

Actually did baskin robbins tonight with the 4 yr old and 6 yr old (8 yr old is at a sleep over). Got the same reaction as most....the place emptied out to see the Kat and everyone was smiling.....damn its great to help make people smile...even if it is "just a car"!

Cruizing to Galveston for a wedding tomorrow....that should be fun too.....

best rgrds - Brian
