Hey Dan, more great pictures. They illustrate what most Prowler owners have had problems with. The picture #4 on page 1, you can see that the bolts on the left are not seated all the way. I had to go through heck trying to get the bolt down to where it belonged. In your picture #16 on the other side of the car all three bolts are properly seated. I had the same thing happen to me. Keep up the good work. Jim Clayton. |

Hi Dan, Did you used locktite sealant on the nuts ? If not take the nuts back off and put some on! or change the nut to nylock nuts so they will not come lose. Purple Pacifican, Yes, I ended up hammering those things in. Nyle Wing, Did not know they would fly off. I will take your advise and go back and put some nylock nuts. That should not be a problem. Thanks! My wrench is the P5600 double strength screw newmatic Tim Allan special ordered from Tool Time. Y2KRedProwler, For now, I have left them the way they are. I got speed bumps where I live and I'm not to jazzed about going thru them. I was able to experience the scraping noise they make in John Davies silver bullet. Does not sound pretty. No damage appeared to be present on his splash guards. Thank you enthusiasts for your feedback! Very helpful. Nice to know you got supporters out there in Prowler Country. Later.... ------------------ |

Dan- Before wrenching any further on your cat, purchase the Binford Tools 8000 series crescent wrenches that Nyle uses. This set of 12, from 2inch to 24 inch wrenches in 2 inch increments, is forged steel. Warranty: ten years or first use! ------------------ |
