The Woodward Dream Cruise is over and eveyone has gone home, but my memories of the fun and excitement are still with me. To just say "Thank You" to all of you that came, just isn't enough. Its hard to find the words to express how I feel. It was because of all the people that came, that this was a success! Everyone pitched in and helped at BO's. Thanks to all the ladies that helped decorate, and to all the guys that helped get the cars parked (untill Linda & Mike arrived), thanks to Linda & Mike for two days on the street parking and guarding the cars, thanks to Larry Lord, Tony and Peter Geortz for the raffle, Larry thanks for auctioning your hat! (I can't believe you did that) and thanks for all the phone calls telling me that everything would work out just fine, Gary C. thanks for all the fun and help keeping Woodward alive, thanks for the water fight (even through you lost)and thanks for the cars, that was a very nice idea and I will treasure my car for ever, you and Larry Lord have been great friends to me, Larry Herder thanks for my ride, John Schultz thanks for everything you did, everyone of you that came helped in some way so thanks to all of you. This would have only been half of an event without my buddy "CJ"!!!! Without her you would not have had any of the great tours that you went on. She worked very hard to make every moment fun for all of you. I could not have done this wtihout her help!! It was fun working with her, and I hope we will be friends for life. Woodward is only a street, it was your coming here that made it an event to remember. All the fun and excitement was made by each and every one of you!!! Next year it will be even better. I miss all of you and can't wait untill we can get together again!! Drive and enjoy your cars, I love you all Carol |

Okay, I hate getting mushy, but...... All of you that attended the Dream Cruise and all of you that supported on the sidelines because you couldn't come made it the success it was. I have been attending the Dream Cruise since it's inception 6 years ago, but I've never had as much fun as I did at this one with all of you. Coordinating an event like this is a lot of work, but it was worth it to know all of you had such a good time. Thanks to all of you who jumped in and helped when we needed it. Decorating, planning the water attack on Gary C. (LOL), parking, being emcees, the generosity with the raffles and auctions for Make A Difference. Gary C. thanks for all the support, ideas, phone calls and the chance to blast you with the water guns. I feel like I've known you forever! Thanks to Larry Lord, Larry Herder, Laddie Roussel, John Schulz, Tony Goertz for all that you contributed. Carol is right, Woodward is only a street, but it lives on! When Bob and I were 18, we cruised Woodward along with a lot of other people. I remember the cool cars, going to Ted's for onion rings (unfortunately, Ted's doesn't exist anymore), the camraderie of the kids cruisin' on Woodward, checking out everyone's cool rides.......hasn't changed much, has it? We were out there on Woodward again, cruisin', checkin' out the cood rides and having a great time with all of our new friends....let's keep the legend going......come back next year!! |

Carol, It was my pleasure to help with the Woodward Cruise. Although it can be very stressfull at times, all of the hard work seems worthwhile when everyone has a good time. Thanks for everything you and CJ did to make this the largest and best Prowler event ever and be assured that you can count on my help again next year. I had a great time but I will bring my car and trailer next year. Already planning another trip to South Dakota on the way to Woodward 2001. Don't think that I'm going to let you have the car count record for very long. I'm already planning some great events for the owners. The Grand Canyon - Route 66 Cruise is being planned as we speak for November 2-5 in Flagstaff Arizona. Plan on attending if you can. ------------------ |
