Sorry if I am asking stupid questions, but seeing you guys in Pontiac has given me a bad case of Prowler fever...

That black piece on the front of the rear fender...what is that? Just a guard for things thrown by the front tires? A footpad for leaping over the door?

I'm having a little bit of a tough time getting an ideal of what these cats cost too. List price is $40K? But some dealers are asking $70K and the Woodward ad here says $53K. Quite a range. Just how many pennies will I need to save up?

Hope it's alright if I hang around here until I can be a Prowler owner instead of a future Prowler owner.

Thanks all.

Mike (FPO)

This would be to prevent you from scratching your rear fender by flying rocks from your front tires and also to prevent you from scratching your rear fender as you get out especially when your top is up.

Later....

Main thing is, take your time and be patient. It's tough going to dealer, seeing it, knowing that you want it, and then seeing they are asking 5-10-20K over sticker, and then walking away.

I called a local dealer that had a new one, told them I could get one for sticker outta town and then offered me theirs for slightly below sticker. Funny thing was, when I went there, they had a sticker on the windshield stating it was for sale for $59,500.00
