Paxton 1/4 mile times will be coming soon. That is if I can keep my "v" belt on! This is the belt that drives the A/C compressor. I know, who needs the A/C, but seriously. I've just replaced my third "v" belt and hopefully for the last time. It seems as though the serpentine belt tensioner was too close to the "v" belt and would rub against it. I hopefully fixed the problem today by adding washers to the serpentine tensioner, increasing the clearance. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Mike Krehel (edited 07-19-2000).] |

Yea, I spoke with David yesterday and he said that adding the washers to space off the serpentine tensioner should do trick. |
