Why do the Prowlers have positive camber in the rear? Is it possible to run a little negative camber in the rear? I want to run Carlini's rear spacers without the tires rubbing. Will the negative camber wear out drive line components quicker? Thanking you in advance. ------------------ |

I understand your question. We talked about it today and I'll give you the answer we give SEMA member companies. The vehicles are very carefully developed to provide the best possible performance for customers over a broad range of conditions. Modifications beyond the stock condition are not factored in, tested or validated. Vehicles, like Prowler, seem to encourage owners to want to personalize them. I my opinion, the factory does not test for modifications. All modifcations are made at an owners risk and the factory is unable to support or even comment upon such modifications. Many modifications actually void the warranty and possibly modify the crash signature to on-board safety sensors. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, I'm only sharing my opinion regarding the inability of anyone within the factory to officially comment. Believe me, they monitor your boards, understand the discussion and support your club efforts. |
