Just had to sound off. I'm getting frustrated with Dodge/Chrysler. I ordered a new Magnum in August, and acording to my dealer it has not been scheduled for production. No-one in this area has the RT. Lots of v-6's around. Why the hold-up. Don't they want to sell cars?? A NASCAR race is coming up at Darlington, partially sponsored by Carolina Dodge Dealers. Unfortunately my dealer is dealing with about 60 RAM trucks to be used at the race as well as all the pace cars, Magnums! He is not expecting many new cars for a while because of this. All these vehicles are then alocated to dealers across the country. Oh well with any luck mine will come in before the end of the year so I can use the F&F certificate.

RPL posted there is a shortage on the Hemi. The magnum and 300C use a different Hemi than the Ram and Durango. The cars only use 4 cylinders while cruising.

I ordered my 300C in December and it arrived at the end of April. The wait is painful but I promise it's more than worth it. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Click the link below for a detailed description of the wait for my car. I think maybe I went overboard with my site, but it was a lot of fun to do. Many people told me the site kept them entertained while they waited for theirs, and that made it worth my time!

When we toured the plant in Brampton, we were told we could contact the head honcho and he would push our orders ahead. I understand that a few people took him up on that offer and got theirs fairly quickly.
Anyone got that name and number handy to help out a fellow POA member?

Local dealer here ( company store ) has 3, 1 dark gray, I think the others were green and a red? I think they are base R/T's cause I think he said they were $29,999 ? My car buddy has a black loaded with aftermarket wheels & tires and has 4000 miles on it but he wants $34,000.

Cjchelen,
feel your pain, I place a order for a RT several month's ago, I contacted my dealership at least 2-3 times a month, no information could be obtained from the factory, so I was told...finally gave in a purchased a SXT from a different dealership, it's a very nice car but knowing what I know now, I would have waited for the hemi..

point of interest
i ordered my red magnum rt in june
kept waiting and waiting
finally two weeks ago it arrived
IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT !!!!!!!!!!!!
i was told during the endless wait, that chrysler had devoted most of the hemi engines to the cherokee line in leiu of winter coming, true or not, "IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT"
during the wait i ordered a new air intake system, and exhaust system, on the way home from the dealership i took it right to my muffler shop, removed 150 lbs of exhaust and put in the new exhaust and air box. the car is awesome.
now lookig for 20" wheels and tires plus a few more goodies.
so bottom line here "IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT"--LOL
HOPE YOU GET YOURS SOON

Thanks to all who responded, My magnum has yet to be scheduled for production. However I stopped by the dealer today and was offered a Magnum ordered a mount before mine that is scheduled this month. The person who origionally ordered it couldn't wait and got the SXT. Same coler + sunroof, - 6 disc CD and Satellite radio, + $300. I told them to put my name on it so hopefully in a few weeks.
