My sister honeymooned in Puerta Vallarta and had a good time. I don't know where she stayed, but she said at night, you had to watch your step to avoid stepping on all of the crabs that were ALL OVER. I saw some of her pictures and I'm talking crabs about every 6 - 12 inches on the sidewalks, exterior hallways, etc...

I enjoyed the Tequila tour, they showed us how it is made the old way. Also went to the old set location for the film Predator, it has a smooth rock slide into a small pool that you can swim in and a little restaurant on site. Did a lot of walking around town, nice homey place, but I enjoyed Mazatlan more because it seemed more cultural Mexico. We spend 1 or 2 weeks a year in Mexico, nice people. Go into the center of town away from the main drag to eat and shop, better prices and service. I don't golf, but there are some very nice courses out of town in Nuevo Vallarta. Have fun.

CTProwler, Nuevo Vallarta is about 10 miles out of PV, but there is a bus that take you into town for 10 pesos (about $1.00). You will actually be in another state and different time zone from PV, however they stick to PV time in most cases. Nuevo Vallarta does not have any of the culture areas live PV, because it is strictly a resort town. Golf will be right in your back yard, very nice looking well kept courses. I'm going to Cabo for New Years, we typically go there after Christmas and spring break, because the kids are out of school then. The Grand Velas looks like a nice place, We stayed at the Mayan Palace (I would not recommend it). Enjoy the sunshine and Mexican hospitality.

MR C Mangeng I have a timeshare in Cabo. Real nice place. Club Regina. Was here in April with the kids. Waves were to strong for them to go in the ocean though. Really nice golf courses. We had a lot of fun at the local bars, quite good sceneryRoman small world!!!I should be at hotel mid afternoon i hope.------------------

Chuck, I did a tour of club Regina, very nice place. There are lots of nice golf courses in Cabo, but best of all no rain (actually only 5 days a year). Maybe we will see you in Cabo in the future, our timeshare is wk 13 at the Playa Grande. We won't be able to go the next couple years, due to kids spring break not falling on that week. I guess we will try renting it out. If anybody is going to cabo during Christmas/New years time frame, it would be fun to get together, just let me know. Craig.
