I have been driving for 44 years, so I doubt if I can remember them all. Not as many as Tangled and not nearly as nice of cars, either.

..probably close to a hundred personal and several hundred business vehicles....

.....the only really bad ones were a 94 Cutlass conv and the 73 CUDA....the Cutlass lost 2 engines by 33K miles among many other problems and the 73 CUDA had problems from day one till I sold it a couple years later, it wouldn't idle, EVER....
....probably the best car was a 91 Spirit, I put 200K miles on it before selling it and it is still on the street today.....it NEVER let me down....

the fun ones....
Corvettes(11)...61,62,64,78,84,90,95,2000,2001,2003,2004
Vipers(8)....94,94,2000,2002,2002,2002,2003,2003
Prowlers....99black,2000silver,2000black,2000yelo,2000yelo,2001Mulh,2001orange,2002Kandi....(8 total)
69 Dodge Daytona (2)
70 Plymouth Superbird (1)
71 Cudas...6BBLS and conv (2)
70 AAR Cuda (1)
70 Challengers (about 30)HEMIS, 6PAKS
72 CUDA (1)
73 CUDA (1)
55 Chevy (1)
68 GTO (2)exactly alike 36 years apart
69 Chevelle (1)

mixed in with these during the years are a Pinto, Dodge Colt, Escort, Magnum, Mustang, Jeep, Turbo T-Bird, Datsun,Sebring, etc etc etc....and one old beater truck we called the "Ghost" because it was disappearing right in front of our eyes.....

the first one.....

Tangled - '55 Chevy, exactly like your's, was my third car. Mine didn't have that bar across the top of bumper in front of the grill. Put a 275 horse Corvette motor in it, and almost lost my driver's license within six months Paid $550 for it in 1962, and sold it for $425. $25 for six months of insurance. Times have sure changed, lol.

Too many to want to count but fave was a '59 Black Vette w/Silver Coves 'n' RED Leather interior (also had Hardtop w/red tuck n roll interior). 4-spd, positraction, 3/4 race cam, lil 283 4bbl...purchased for $1,500 in '67 when I first returned from Nam/Thailand~a sweet ride. Sold it 2 years later for $1,000~man, hindsight 20-20...what that car would be worth today...about $50k or greater! Wahhhhh!

42 - when I turned 50 my family had me sit down and list all my cars and between my mother, brither and sister who helped fill in the lapses in my memory came up with 42.

I have never owned a car as long as I have had the Prowler.

I got 2 new cars every year from Ford for over 20 years that I worked there, plus all the cars before and after that. It has to be somewhere around 60-70, but there's no way I can recall them all.

AC...
.....In October 1967 I paid $600 for this little one owner 55 Chevy....first thing I did was remove the fender skirts and hubcaps, and put them in the trash....I had the whitewalls turned in and a set of chrome wheels and glass packs installed....later as money came in, I installed a set of "redline tires"...WOW, did it ever look COOL

....it had a 283 bored to a 301, a "3 on the tree" with overdrive giving you six different gears of which you could use any four of them at any time....it had amazing "off the line" capabilities and also a huge top end...I raced everything that moved and beat nearly everything I raced( I can't remember being beat, but I surely was)....I won alot of $$$ with that Chevy and got in a lot of trouble with it also....during the several months I owned it I was stopped nearly 20 times and given several tickets, (speeding and loud exhaust)....it would do 70mph in 1st, 105mph in 2nd and no idea what top end really was....the speedo only went to 110 or 115 the best I remember...

...My dad had a 55 Chevy hotrod but he really liked mine too, so I sold the 55 to him(he liked the car better than I did anyway) and bought a new 68 GTO conv........the GTO never outran the 55 Chevy, it couldn't even keep up !!!.....around 1973 the car was in a serious accident with another owner and went thru the auto crusher....end of the 55 Chevy....

I counted at one time over 100 cars, trucks and motorcycles.

I have always wanted to have my own car lot and use to keep a car for a few weeks then sell it.

Now I get a car and normally keep it

My 1st car was a `67 Barracuda and my 1st new car was a `77 Dodge Aspen

Sue's 1st new car was a `68 GTX

WildCat.....

....the 55 Chevy was kind of a sore spot in my early days.....I was saving my $$$ to buy a '67 427 Fairlane GT.....saved my $$$ for a long time to get the down payment....came home one day, and my dad had taken my money and bought the 55 for me....at first, I was mad, I hated the car....I still wanted the Fairlane GT...well, after a few days I cooled off and realized the car was really a pretty cool car and all my buddies really liked the car too.....but I went back to saving my $$$ and bought a GTO the next spring...I looked at Wes Watts 55 Chevy at "the Paddock" in Knightstown recently....it is a dead ringer for my old one....I sat in it a while, soaking up the memories, but I really have little interest in replacing it, I would still rather have the 427 Fairlane

196? Ford Ranch Wagon (topped out at 20mph last time I drove it and just parked it on side of road. Was gone a week later when I went back for it.)
196? Buick Opal (threw rod and was towed off from apartment I was in)
1973 Camaro (8 days til T-boned a trash truck that ran stop sign)
1970 Cutlass (great car! needed freeze plugs and couldn't afford to fix, apartment was after me to move it, so sold it to Texas Independant Stuntmans Assn. They t-boned it in a stunt show.)
1980 Monza (totalled by someone running a light)
1987 S-10 Blazer (My first new vehicle. Totalled by someone running a light. T-boned my driver door. Never had a problem in the 12 years I owned it.)
1992 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE
1997 Plymouth Prowler

My uncle bought a 55 Chevy new and has raced it since 56. Showed it alot too and has show and race tropheys covering his house, basement, & offices. Ran out of room for tropheys and had to start taking money. Of all his race tropheys, all are for 1st place except 2 for 2nd place. The only pics I have are 35mm. He still has it and now his son races it (among other cars they have and race. Last time I heard, about 20 years ago, he had over 17 cars ranging from Model A to Camero with the hidden head lights. Forget what year that is. 1967?)

The very first car I've owned was a 79 Mustang(the only Ford I've ever owned)...and it went from there.
My wife and I tried to count all the cars we've had over the years(not counting company cars)and it was too long to remember...
among the most memorable were the Porsche 911 and the Jag XJ12.The Prowler and the Viper are about the record holders as far as time so far...
The next thing I've had my eye on...Yellow Boxster!

A little over 120 since I was 15, I think I was always looking for the neatest car, more than 50% were muscle cars and quite a few turned out to be very rare but I had no idea when I owned them. The shortest amount of time I owned a car was 3 days and the longest was 10 years. My wife and close friends are betting on how long my Prowler will last, they think it will be gone by Jan. 15th I think it will be around at least 2 years and at this time I would only sell it to get a different Prowler. It is simply one of the most fun cars to drive I have ever owned.

My wife and I will have to sit down this weekend and go thru our scrap book. I have pictures of most of them and could post them but would'nt want to bore anyone unless asked. Mostly Mopar, everything from 1938 Ply truck to 1999 Prowler. Have been buying, collecting and selling since I was 16. Still have the 1st one I bought in 1974 its a 1970 Challenger. I think around 100 or so, my wife Susan says about two to many, to many, to many. I have about,to many in my collection at this present time. More cars than brains. onecatnodog
