I'm glad you had a good time.
How many cars was the final total,do you know?
I saw a few pics on the Viper board and it looks like Vipers ruled Dallas for a few days(except for the Prowlers,of course)...
Yellow looks cool indeed....

VOI# 8 was a blast! Driving Texas Speedway was way cool! Awesome. Roman around 600-650 Vipers and 1200 people I was told. Dodge gave us an embroidered Leather travel bag with Pins,Hat,California duster,Key chain, every Mopar cleaning & waxing Product,Viper logo blanket,VOI#8 shirt, Paper weight,Boot Mug and more. Barb and I got a Yellow Special Edition Viper shirt and Hat. 05 Yellow came with Car Cover also. We got to drive the SRT4 Neons around a course. We test drove the Viper Truck, Magnum, Crossfire, around outside of the track. Dodge Rented out Billy Bobs one of the largest Bars in the world i'm told, for us Friday night. Dodge unveiled the New 06 Coupe. It was almost as Good as Prowlin Canada!! Anytime you get a chance to drive a track like Texas Speedway you have to do it. I did about 10 different runs which consisted of 3 Hot laps!If you don't own one and you can afford it do it! Great car Tons of fun and what other company in the world does something like this? None!Met Tammy Fisher and her hubby, they were nice enough to introduce themselves. Saw a few Kats in the Gaylord Hotel Garage, and around the city. 600 Vipers parading around in Fort Worth was something to see! I'm Now looking forward to AZ and Jets vs Cards game the end of Nov and meeting the AZ group! Met a few Prowler owners who never go on POA and live in AZ also.

I will admit, never been much of a Viper fan, but after attending the VOI I was much more impressed than before. GPS John Schulz came down and stayed at our house before the event then we attended it with him. He drove down his new black Mamba - very sharp car!! Ken got to drive it at the track on Saturday, but I couldn't get there in time, so went back to the track on Sunday and drove the track in it. Ken got it up to 130, but I was a little more timid since it was John's car and not mine and especially since he had only had it a few days - so kept it at 105 on the straight aways. It was nice to meet you Chuck. Didn't get to say hi to Barb, but saw her sitting on a couch later that evening. The bags, etc. from the event were really nice and everything at the event was put together very well! It certainly helps to have the backing of a corporation!! LOL Met a lot of Prowler owners too from Illinois, etc. Ken had such a great time in John's Viper that instead of a 5 window coupe, he may decide on getting an RT later on. But that's a ways down the road!! LOL Dodge also gave out certificates for new vehicle purchases at the event, so looks like Ken will be getting his Dodge truck before the end of the year. Tami

Dodge is coming out with the Yellow Special Edition Viper SRT/10 Truck now! Its available in Crew cab also. (The one with me and Barb with Michelin Man). Its would look good trailering my new Yellow I have 2 coupons for 1% below factory invoice also if anyone wants to buy a dodge or chrysler.(Viper, SRT models,Dodge Sprinter are not offered)But if you want a New Crossfire or Magnum etc? The guy with the blue checkered shirt in the photo with Barb is the guy who does the Dodge Truck Commercials. He has a new one out soon!(He was there the whole event)

That's great,Chuck!
I saw the pics of the new Viper coupe and it just wasn't exactly what I expected...I thought it was going to look a lot more like a Competition coupe....instead it's a crossover between a new SRT10 and the old GTS coupe!
What's your thoughts seeing it in person?

Butchee----Wild Time! Limos, Bars, Partys!!!Don't believe all you read! I'll fill you in with the truth if you want to know! Roman-- Coupe looks good in person! Mixed reviews, Some love it some don't!I myself think it will change a bit, but maybe not! I'ts going to be at least 550 HP or 600 which is good. I'm going to buy one if thats the case!Remember its a Viper and owners want a car thats a sports car not a luxury car with all the frills. At one of the SRT tech meeting roundtables i suggested XM Radio and most people didn't even want that! If you want a luxury car you need to buy a Bentley or a Aston Martin etc!
