Warning, this is not pretty, and it will not sit well with some folks. Why Ford is running it is beyond me. There is a disclaimer that no animals were harmed in the production of this commercial. This is apparently from the UK.

Wow, I better not let my wife see that commercial!

I did like the commercial they did for the same car which showed a pigeon flying over the car, apparently to do it's business on the hood, and the hood flew open and wolloped the pigeon.

This is the second commercial. The first one involves a bird, it's really funny. I cannot find the link, but I do have the file. I would be happy to email it to anyone.

Wish I had such a sunroof... I got cats that pee on my prowler top, car cover and drives me nuts...

Where can I buy such a powerful sunroof???

The animation is very clean... I can't tell it's an animated kat.

Later...

I work at a Ford/Visteon plant and this has been a computer at work for the past 2 weeks. Everyone in the room was laughing so hard and all the people that had not seen it had to go close to watch it real close.

Did you watch the inside of the car just as the sunroof closes?

Today's local paper announced that Ford and GM are going into partnership at the local (Sharonville) Ford Transmission plant to build 6 speed automatic transmissions to be ready for the 2007 models.
No Joke. It is a billion dollar project.

Our local tv news (NBC) announced tonight it was the engines they will be building together. Will news media EVER be right?

I don't want to contradict your local station but I am betting it is transmissions since Sharonville Ford plant makes transmissions and not engines. But that is just an uneducated guess.

There was an AP story yesterday in our local paper that showed a picture of the 2 exes with the tranny.

I found the photo and script.

It was titled "Gas Muzzler".

"Homi Patel (left) General Motors' Vice President of powertrain manufacturing, and United Auto Workers Vice President Richard Shoemaker unveil a six-speed, front-wheel-drive transmission Monday at GM's Warren Transmission Plant in Warren, Mich. General Motors Corp. and Ford Motor Co. jointly announced a $720 million investment to build the fuel-saving transmission."
