I have been on this site for a month now and have grown to respect and enjoy the many characters who hang out here. My wife and I are expecting twins June 12th. We are trying to come up with names and I thought it would be interesting to get input from the Prowler community. Here are the guidelines: We are both over 40 and have four kids already - 19, 17, 11 and 2. We do not like cutesy, trendy names like Heather, Brittany or Justin. We are looking for interesting names that share some commonality. We know the twins are fraternal and are a boy and a girl. Some combinations that have been rejected include my brother's suggestion of Denise for the girl, and Denephew for the boy. My first suggestion was Elle for the girl and Beau for the boy because Christine has very pretty elbows. So, new Prowler friends, please submit your suggestions here to Name the Twins. Be creative, but remember the audience that reads this site. If we choose the twins' names from a POA member's suggestion, we will send a special prize commemorating the moment to the winning entrant. Thank you for playing.

Samuel and Samantha. My wife and I are expecting and we found out it's a boy, so the name is Samuel. If it was going to be a girl it would be Samantha |

How about Xand P. You determine who gets the Pee name. If this wasn't a planned pregnancy (which is none of our business) you can name them Oops and Oopsie? OK, not funny. |

Ed, This is exactly what I expected, and what I wanted. It is a perfect mix of creativity and serious preferences. Believe it or not, Kit and Kat got a good reception, since out daughter's real name is Tyger, and we call her Cat as a nickname. We already have a son named Christopher, so we can't do Chris and Chris. I wanted to do Patrick and Patricia, or Kelly and Kelley, but got ruled out there too. She wants them to be similar in meaning, but not necessarily alphabetically. For quite awhile she was set on River and Brooke. This thread is simply meant to be a nice distraction on this board and should not cut into anyone's work productivity for those that surf while they work. We love the responses so far and look for many more. Guy |

I guess Quint for the number five child would work, but in keeping with that theme, I'm not sure Sex works for the number six child |

Or Hannah-Barbera Or Daryl and her brother Darrell I'm glad you are thick skinned and have a sense of humor, XP. Sandy is a twin but her sister is Suzie so that might not work for a boy/girl set. |
