To each his own. Wing? Not for me as well. But if you like it, that's great.

a spoiler on an SSr may not be a bad idea...
just something a little less "mechanical" looking...

how about something a little smoother looking...

Love the yellow on a SSR. But Moe, the wing. What can I say. If you like it that's what counts. The SSR is sharp.

The Prowler looks nice. As for the SSR, I have zero interest in them. A convertible truck? Why? But I guess some people like them, because I think Chevy has sold a couple hundred of them over the past three years.

Moe,

My opinion would be as most other’s here. SSR looks fine, but not with the wing. But that’s just opinion. I think you should dedicate rear storage space to an entertainment center with a 60 inch plasma screen that pops up with an automated slow rise of the lid .. but that’s just me.

Ed,

If I was drinking milk when I read that, it would have been coming out my nose! But I can see it now…

...several years ago my son had a 1989 Dakota Sport convertable....I drove it quite a bit while I was building a couple of stores....quite handy and alot of fun, especially with the top down.....I just have never decided if I like the SSR well enough to own one myself....

Sorry, Give that wing to some Honda Civic street racer dude. PS: if you are thinking one of those big coffee can exhaust tips would look good too, Keep the wing, sell the SSR and buy yourself a Honda Civic.

He did ask right?

I too have a SSR and have been looking at a spoiler. There is a company in FT Lauderdale, Fl called Direct Sales and Designa that make a painted spoiler that is way too Kool! They have been selling on Ebay lately.

That SSR is not parked in Bahrain is it, you don't have maple and oak trees there? I have been to Bahrain several times since the Kuwait war and you have a great country. What are you paying for a gallon (liter) now? Bet it's not $3.20 a gallon! Never saw a Prowler there but there are a lot of other great cars on the streets, with some WILD drivers!

Wally - that looks 100% better,,,if that is the direction you are going.

**********************************************************

Those other high style wings remind me of Sh!t Box Racing Team,,,wannabees that have little money for extra speed, so they strap on a wing to try to impress. I know that isn't the case with Moe,,,,where he lives, they open the water faucets and oil comes out, lol.
