This past weekend while at the beach I saw three teenage guys and all three had black T-shirts on. One had the Led Zepplin logo, another one had Jimi Hendrix and the third was Allman Brothers logo. To me it was a sign of hope. Rock On! Jeff

My 3 teenage boys all like Led Zepplin. They are into 60s-70s rock & roll, punk, alternative rock, etc. Some of thier favorites: Beatles, Joy Division, Pink Flyod, Dead Milkmen, The Clash, Bowie, Zappa, etc. All 3 have rock t-shirts from groups most of thier friends have never heard of.

Thankgoodness - we have no rap music in our house!!!

Classic rock is mostly what my 13 year old son and his friends listen to and play on guitars.

I don't think it ever died, but it sure seems to be coming back strong.

Same in this house for the most part. After rap got old,my teens play and listen to classic rock. Except maybe when I let them take a spin in the Kat. Then I find the station on rap and real funny sounds coming out of the speakers. I think they are blown. Not good!!

Halicat - I've watched that DVD set several times and it's great! My favorites are "When the Levee Breaks," "I Can't Quit You Babe," "Whole Lotta Love," and "Ramble On," all played at max volume!!!!!

Bob,
i love every one of those songs ! Particularly love "when the Levee breaks"....
Led Zepplin was the best reason to invest in a good stereo....the only other album i would class even close would be "Close to the Edge" by Yes...

Jim,

So you're the one responsible for keeping Kraco in business.

I must admit, in my day, the bands at our High School mixers ALWAYS played Stairway to Heaven at some point in the evening.

It was REALLY SOMETHING if you slow-danced with a girl THROUGH THE ENTIRE SONG. If you managed to accomplish that, you were the talk of the school come Monday morning.

I only manged that once. Senior year with Martha Peters. She was quite the dish.......

Ah memories........
