Personally, I think it is a GREAT idea. Opens up some other markets, and I don't think any current markets they have are going to say, what is he doing in the commercials? I'm not going to buy that car now.

I think someone needs to smack the back of his head and see if that fixes the broken voice box. Something in there has to be loose or shorted out!

Is that suppose to be a Prowler? Snoop Dog is not the image I think D/C should be looking for, and poor old Lee, he walks like a 95 year old grandmother (no way would he make 18 holes, even in that cart), great man, but stay out of the media for gods sake!

Is it me....or do most people find the new Chrysler commercials with Lee very annoying....especially played back to back.

I think Snoop Dogg is good marketing in order to get younger buyers.

I work for Chrysler, and I'll tell you I'm happier to see Snoop than Lee in the comercial's. We need fresh not old and stale. Not big on the Dogg, but he did single handedly make the 300 explode on the market!$!$!$!$$$$$$$

He was funny in the Starsky and Hutch remake movie as Huggy Bear....

David Starsky: I like your Lincoln.
Huggy Bear: It's a '76. Won't be out 'til next year. But I know some people that know some people that robbed some people.

Love the golf carts!

Why is that?

Look at it this way:
The Chrysler 300 would definately not be as big of a seller if the Hip-Hop crowd wouldn't have embraced it when it first hit the market.

Snoop Dogg, as well as a few other big name artists have purchased them, or Chrysler has just gave them to these people.

Another hip hop avenue that has been responsible for big promotion to the younger generation is DUB magazine. They do tons of promoting for the car in their magazine, and at their nation wide car shows. Dub even hauls a few 300's owned by celebritys around the country with them to all of their shows. One of which happens to be Snoop Doggs.

I personally think Chrysler is making the right choice by marketing towards a younger crowd, and not following the path of Lincoln (the town car will be dead soon). Personally the way I see Chrysler looking at it is that the younger crowd will be around a lot longer to buy more of their products than a group of 50-60 year olds. I could be wrong but I think it's great marketing.

I am sure however that there are a few people out there that would now refuse to purchase one of these automobiles now since Snoop is promoting them, and that is truly unfortunate. I guess the same thing happened with the Escalade though, and it is still fairly popular.

I don't like those new commercials either... especially the one with George from Seinfeld... never like his lying, weasel character...everything he says is BS.....
